Privacy Policy

Effective 2 August 2026

Branches & Bonds (“we”, “us”) is a private family building advisory. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We treat every inquiry as confidential.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit an application, we collect your name, email address, phone number, city or primary location, preferred contact method, and your written responses about where you are in your family building journey, what prompted you to reach out, your priorities, whether you have worked with other advisors, your anticipated timeline, and how you found us.

Sensitive information. Your responses may describe fertility treatment, medical circumstances, or other health related details. You are not required to share any of it, and you should share only what you feel is useful for assessing fit. We do not use this information for any purpose other than responding to your inquiry and delivering services you engage us for.

Information collected automatically. Our web server keeps standard access logs. To prevent automated abuse of the application form, we store a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address together with submission timestamps. The hash cannot be reversed to recover your IP address, and these records are pruned automatically.

How we use your information

We use what you submit to assess whether an engagement is a good fit, to respond to you, to schedule and conduct consultations, and to provide advisory services if you become a client. We also use aggregate, non-identifying usage data to understand how the site is performing.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Legal bases for processing

Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for the information you voluntarily submit through the application form, including any health related details; on the necessity of taking steps at your request before entering a contract; and on our legitimate interest in securing the website against automated abuse. You may withdraw consent at any time.

How your information is shared

We share information only with service providers who help us operate: our website host, and our email provider, through which applications are delivered to us. We may also disclose information where required by law. If you engage us and we coordinate on your behalf with clinics, agencies, attorneys, or other professionals, we will do so only with your direction.

How long we keep it

Applications that do not lead to an engagement are retained for up to twelve months so that we can respond if you return to us, and are deleted after that. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for as long as needed afterwards to meet legal and professional obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions are transmitted over an authenticated connection to our mailbox. Access to applications is limited to the firm’s Managing Principal. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Residents of California may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and request deletion; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are enabled on this site, they are configured to measure aggregate page views without cookies and without collecting personally identifying information.

International visitors

We operate from the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed there, where data protection law may differ from that of your country.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
